1. Start PCB Editor if you don’t already have it running, and open shape.brd if it is not the current design.
2. If required, resize the PCB Editor window to fit your screen.
3. Move the mouse to the canvas background and Right-click>Quick Utilities>Design Parameters
4. Select the Display folder tab.
5. Select the Setup Grids button from the Grids section.
6. Check the Grids On option in the upper left corner of the form to toggle grids ON.
7. Scroll the form to examine the entire list of etch layers, then return to the top of the displayed list.
8. Locate the section marked All Etch in the column labelled Layer, and set the Spacing X and Y values to 0.1mm as shown in the figure
(Use the Tab key to move between the X and Y fields)
9. Left-click>OK at the bottom of the Define Grid form.
10. Left-click>OK to close the Design Parameter Editor form.
11. In order to ensure that the Etch grid is being displayed, you must activate a routing command. Left-click the Add Connect icon
(same as choosing the Route>Connect menu item).
12. Right-click>Cancel from the pop-up menu.
