Via Arrays

An array can be simply defined as an arrangement of similar objects. For a PCB, arrays are generally rows or columns of vias or via structures attached to a net and near or inside other objects. On screen dynamics give control and feedback to the user by letting them dynamically adjust their arrays before placing them. Visuals and graphics in the Options pane make arrays easy to understand letting you get what you want the first time.

The Via Array command allows users to add both vias or via structures in various patterns to their designs. Controls let the user choose the starting point of an array, the location of the array, as well as the geometry of the array (spacings between objects). Other legacy controls allow for previewing, adhering to DRC, and extending a selection to include all objects of a net.
