1. Open the project called initial from the C:\OrCAD_Training\PSpice folder

2. Run the simulation and observe the results.

Notice that the Nodeset has no effect on the simulation since it just “hints” the start of the Bias Point process which then runs until the circuit is stable with the capacitor discharged. The IC “forces” capacitor to a 1V charge at the start of the simulation and the capacitor then discharges through the resistor.
