Reference Schematic:

 

1. Open the opampnoise project from the C:\OrCAD_Training\PSpice directory.

This circuit uses an Analog Devices OP-42 improved Op-Amp model, see the Analog Devices web site for a note that describes the derivation of this op-amp model.

 

2. Edit the Simulation Profile and check the simulation settings:

 

3. Run the Simulation

 

4. When the Probe window opens, add the Trace for V(out)

 

5. Add a new Y Axis and add the V(inoise) trace to it to see the input referred noise.

See the bandpass response of the Sallen Key filter and the U shaped response of the input referred noise.
