Homogeneous Packages contain one, or more Parts. For multi-section Homogeneous Packages, all of the Parts, the graphical elements, are identical, this includes the Pin Names, and only the Pin Numbers differ between the Parts (or sections).

Editing the graphics of one of the sections of a Homogeneous Package will change the graphics for all of the sections.

The number of Parts, sections, of a Homogeneous Package can be increased from 1 or decreased to one to change from a simple, single section Package to a multi-section one.

Pins are attached to the Bounding, “dotted”, box which will not be displayed when the Schematic Part is placed. Check that the Bounding box is maintained on the coarse grid, otherwise Pins can be placed off-grid and will be difficult to connect when used in a schematic.

Since the graphics are identical, function, gate, swapping is automatically enabled between Parts, sections, of the Homogeneous Package.
