Heterogeneous Packages can have differing graphics in each Part, section. Examples include multi-function packages where the common Pins, like Power, can be separated from the individual functions and FPGAs where the part is separated into Parts that, typically, represent the “banks” of Pins in the FPGA.
If creating parts where the graphics in some sections is identical, the graphics can be copied from one section and pasted into another.
If a design uses multiple Heterogeneous Packages of the same part, a grouping property will be needed to determine which sections get put together in the package. The grouping property can be specified at the end of the Combined Property String, or set for the installation by using the “Additionally from INI” value in the Tools>Annotate from. Tools annotate also allows “Auto-package Heterogeneous Part using first match” but this is unlikely to be usable with multiple complex parts like FPGAs.
