Session 16: Processing a Hierarchical Design 17.4

November 12, 2019 admin

For a simple hierarchical design, where each each underlying Schematic is referenced by one Hierarchical Block, processing the hierarchical design is no different from processing a flat design. one which contains a single schematic folder and one, or more pages.

For a complex hierarchical design, where multiple Hierarchical Blocks reference an underlying schematic, the design changes to a preferred mode of “Occurrences”. Processing the design needs to take into account that there multiple sets of properties associated with any underlying Schematics that are referenced by multiple Hierarchical Blocks.
